Old School Freight Train!

By now you've already all heard that the organization formerly known has UCAB has a new name, right? Well AMP - as we are now known - are gearing up for our Late Nite kickoff this Friday in the Sadler Center. Sarah Michalowski, the director of Late Nite, will be back later this week to describe the awesome full event. I'm just here to give my two-cents on the band we're bringing, Old School Freight Train

OSFT combine folk. soul, bluegrass, jazz, latin, and Celtic sounds to create incredible string music. They put on an exciting live show, and we're lucky to have them. Friday, 10PM in the Sadler Center, and it's totally free!

Good day from AMP's music committee, bringing you great music from different genres, all year long. Stay tuned for Girl Talk ticket info!

Are You Ready for Justin Kredible?!

Hey Guys!

I hope you all have had lovely breaks! I'm writing to you from the tundra of Massachusetts where we're supposed to get yet another 4 inches of snow tonight! ack.

But the real reason for writing this is to get everyone pumped up for an Evening with Justin Kredible on January 24th! As one of the only events our first weekend back, it promises to be glitzy. Justin has been featured as a regular on the Rachel Ray Show, Jason Mraz's tour, and celebrity events. Additionally, ladies, he's been featured in US and OK! Magazines as "Man Candy" of the month. (!)

His M.O. is "like a magician, but cooler," so be sure to check it out on Saturday the 24th at 8pm in the SC Commonwealth. Oh yeah, and it's FREE!

Love,
Your Interns

In the works

Hello dedicated blog readers,

The music committee is enjoying our short break these days: we've finished this semester and are now planning the spring. We've got offers in to David Cook, the most recent winner of American Idol, and Death Cab for Cutie. If either/both of them accept, we're looking at a great spring line up.
