Ticket Sales

Purchasing tickets for events on campus:
The new ticket location for all events is at PBK and tickets are sold regularly now M-F at the PBK box office. www.wm.edu/boxoffice
Basically any event other than an athletic event.

Also be aware: there are fees associated with purchasing online; whereas these fees are not present when tickets are bought over the phone or in person.

So now you know, and knowing is half the battle. SPREAD THE WORD!

Hey UCAB -

I had a number of complaints about the tickets for the Ying Yang Twins concert.

First: the TV ad on MTVU says that general admission tickets are only $15, but I was charged $20 when I went to the box office to buy them.

Second: the box office website says that students are eligible to purchase 2 tickets at the student price per ID, but when I tried to do this the people at the Box Office said that they could only issue one ticket per ID.

Third: there ARE MOST DEFINITELY charges for buying tickets no matter how you do it: why is there a $1 "surcharge" for buying my tickets in person? It's not like UCAB is adding any convenience when you buy your tickets in person. Plus, aren't I already paying for your overhead costs through my fees, tuition, and other money I give the college?

Maybe there was miscommunication between UCAB members about prices and ID policies, but the ticket surcharge for buying tickets in person is ridiculous. You guys need to get your story straight before you publish ticket information, and get rid of the silly surcharge

Sincerely,
